Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) is a high power magnet of slightly less power than a Neodymium. The advantage with this material is it's up to 250˚C temperature ability.

Alnico is an alloy that contains varying amounts of Aluminium, Nickel and Cobalt as well as other metals. Typically, Alnico formulas have very high temperature capabilities, up to 540˚C.
They are not as powerful as other types of magnet and lose their magnetism with time.
